Meet Hamza. Follow this young explorer, almost 4 years old, as he adventures around hilly As-Salt, Jordan. He finds every opportunity to make the city his playground: running, jumping, climbing with his mama beside him. They stop for a snack and then continue on their journey, with a quick game of peek-a-boo at the souk. We invite you to explore As-Salt through Hamza’s eyes and infectious energy. In this new series of #YoungExplorers, toddlers in Jordan take you around their cities – starring Al-Anood running errands around Irbid, Taleen in the bustling capital Amman, and Hamza in the mountainous city of As-Salt. Young Explorers is a short film series directed by Jacob Krupnick for Urban95 an initiative from the Van Leer Foundation that encourages city leaders and decision-makers to create spaces where children and their caregivers can connect, imagine, play and flourish.
