Union Pacific 4014: Runnin' Down To St. Louis

And one more Big Boy video. This is the rather shorter one of our Big Boy escapades. After spending the night in Villa Grove, we hit the UP main once again to follow 4014 down the UP Pana Subdivision on it's way to it's next major stop in St. Louis, Missouri. This part of the chase was a bit trickier than most as we would find 4014 managed to get ahead of us and our scanner wasn't picking up much info, but we managed to work with what we could control. And although we didn't manage to get to St. Louis as we were losing light thanks to their late departure from Villa Grove, it was great to see this magnificent engine one more time.
