Texas Live! Grand Opening Celebration

The Cordish Companies proudly joined its development partner, the Texas Rangers, to celebrate the grand opening of Texas Live!. Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams, business and community leaders from around the region, numerous partners, and Hall of Famers Troy Aikman and Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez joined the development team to celebrate this momentous occasion. Ideally situated between the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park and the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in the Arlington Entertainment District, Texas Live! features over 200,000 square feet of best-in-class local, regional and national dining and entertainment, as well as a 5,000-capacity outdoor concert and event pavilion, Arlington Backyard. Additionally, the country’s flagship Live! by Loews hotel is currently under construction and will open next year. Texas Live! is just the beginning of a $4 billion master plan for the Arlington Entertainment District that includes the Rangers’ new ballpark, Globe Life Field, which will open in 2020, as well as the preservation of Globe Life Park. With $1.25 billion currently under construction, the project is setting a new standard in sports-anchored developments around the country that will cement Arlington as the Capital of Sports & Entertainment for decades to come.
