I watched the Chris Holmes documentary again and it got me listening to more tracks off the #WASP album "The Headless Children". I still don't know exactly why Mr. Benali didn't associate with his work with W.A.S.P. later in life but he really did seem to have a case of the ass for his time with them. Whatever it may have been, I am one drummer doing a cover that thought this was some of his (Banali's) best work. It was (to me) his nod to Keith Moon and many other greats. Banali was a phenomenal drummer and at this stage, W.A.S.P. had moved to writing in a more serious manner. Take this track for example - I don't get it but it's about something 🤣🤣🤣. Anyways, kidding aside - I remain hopeful W.A.S.P. have a stop in this next tour close enough for me to at least catch a semi-show. If not, no biggie. Just glad they are back and touring the USA. #drumcover #treyb And not for nothing, but this is a relentless track for a lot of us. The footwork is outstanding as are MANY of the fills. Hopeful to have a sit down with my bro Eric on Drum Attic coming next week too. I have just been trying to get by and get home to keep content coming so I have been slow on all responses for S. Media.
