In "The Karate Kid" (1984), the famous skeleton fight scene was a challenging one to shoot. The actors kept complaining that Fumio Demura, who was Pat Morita's stunt double, was hitting them too hard. This caused some of the choreography and authenticity of the scene to be lost. However, Demura came up with a solution. He offered to use his own students instead, promising that they would nail the shot in one take. The director agreed, and the scene was successfully shot in a single take.
