Lastly, we also share our actual grocery budget to keep ourselves accountable with our own budget. About This Grocery Vlog: This video is our most recent visit to Costco. The original plan was to stock up on meats... (Costco still has the best price and quality when it comes to meats). Other things such as toilet paper, and cleaning supplies are also quite economical to buy in bulk. However, where Costco gets you is their higher marked-up items when you go treasure hunting. Another problem for us being a small family of 3 is that Costco's portions can be too much for us. We often find ourselves overeating certain things (fruits, produce) just so that we eat them all before it goes bad. For meats , we re-package them into smaller portions which we then freeze.
