Bridge Game Learning (22) - Suit-Preference Signal

What is a Suit-Preference Signal? In contract bridge, a suit-preference signal is a defensive signal whereby the play of the cards in one suit indicates a preference between two other suits. The purpose of a suit-preference signal is to help your partner know which suit you would like them to switch to or continue in defense. It is a way for defenders to communicate more effectively and improve their chances of taking additional tricks. This video uses an example to demonstrate how suit preference signal is used by defenders in a game contract.
