Vice President Harris is slated to deliver remarks Friday at a campaign event in the key swing state of Georgia, with a particular focus on the issue of abortion. Her remarks will likely highlight the stories of two women whose deaths she blames on the state’s abortion ban passed by Republicans after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. The deaths were first reported by ProPublica. With less than two months left until Election Day, recent polling out of the Peach State has shown a close race between Harris and former President Trump.
