What kind essential gear do I bring for a canoe trip in the wild. In this video I will show the gear I was bringing during the canoe trip in Kronogård (link to video). I could have chosen lighter equipment or based all my cooking on open fire instead of gas stove. This period was a very dry period so I chose to avoid camp fire. The gear will also change little bit if it’s early or late in the season. I could for example bring a hot tent with a wood stove if I know I will need to dry clothes or if I want to have a warm tent.
