In this video, I talk about the different names used for Guandao: Guandao 關刀, yanyuedao 掩偃月刀, qinglong yanyuedao 青龍偃月刀, chunqiudao 春秋刀, chunqiudadao 春秋大刀, and dadao大刀. I also talk about dao 刀 as a “category of things,” and my frustration of different spellings for guandao in English. What is a Guandao?
