I have purchased 2 of these 1756-L81E/B processors in the last few months. They were purchased about 3 weeks apart. 1 from the east coast of the USA and 1 from GB. Both when powered up gave the same display. Major Fault T01:C61 Non-Recoverable - Backup Energy HW Failure. From an online discussion forum this fault is: Major Fault T01:C61 - Power-up Fault: Non-recoverable Fault with saved Diagnostic Information. If this was on 1 processor and not on the other I would just write it off as a one off failure. But - 1 from the US and 1 from GB both with the same failure?? Now I am wondering if there is a manufacturing problem that Rockwell is not telling us about. From GB - Date code - 2021/08/04 - ASA 012268AF - S/N 89224560 From USA -Date code - - ASA 01008A1C - S/N 68949280 Let us know in the comments below if you have this happening to your processor. If possible please share at least your date code and if you can your module S/N.
