FINALLY this is done. It was actually meant to be finished three weeks ago, but schoool got in the way and SAI really didn't like me. This is my second and probably last Warriors PMV for now, I'm kinda getting sick of drawing cats (which doesn't mean that I'll stop posting Warriors stuff, I'll just focus more on non-cat things). But I'm planning on opening commissions in the future, let me know if you're interested! Anyways, I always wanted to make a PMV about Blackstar, I couldn't really find one and he's such an overlooked character in general. Sadly we don't know a lot about him so a lot of stuff in this video are my own interpretations of his story! I believe that Blackstar never really was evil, he just did what he believed to be right: to follow the leader StarClan chose for ShadowClan. But after Tigerstar's death he realised that it was a horrible idea to just blindly follow someone, and he also started to question why StarClan would choose two leaders who were close to ruining his clan. He promised that he would do everything better and desperately tried to build up ShadowClans reputation again (which is why he was so distant), and just when he thought he made it his home got destroyed. Obviously he was enraged about this, but he also didn't like the plan of changing territories at all, and even when they reached the lake he never stopped questioning if it was the right choice. Then Sol came, and while Blackstar distrusted him at first the Eclipse convinced him that this cat knew more than StarClan itself, and he lost his faith. In his stubborness he didn't want to believe that he made a bad decision, but the sign of StarClan let him realise what he did and he reclaimed his place of a leader, but never fully recovered from his mistake. Another headcanon I like is that Stonefur gave Blackstar the life of forgiveness, but sadly it didn't fit into the video. Characters are form the book series ''Warriors'' by Erin Hunter. The song is Broken Crown by Mumford and Sons. I do not own the song or the characters, only the art is mine.
