John Slivery - Synopsis Aybraor is on the brink of a war that will engulf all realms. The witches of Wangy Magic (Dark Magic) seek to rule Aybraor. Selvina, their leader, has summoned Woondolfy, the master of the Underworld, to her aid. He launches the first battles at the border between Aybraor and the Underworld. Two Khalizar Knights, aided by a few of the Kingdom's allies and supported by the Shinkari defenders—beings bound to and constructed from the defensive wall—strive to resist the invasion. Selvina casts a cryptic curse against those who defend Aybraor. However, the spirit of Kynto Magic—the Magic of Light—watches over them and devises a plan to counter Selvina's curse. But this plan involves bringing a boy from Kaavat Sliveray—the World of Humans—who will have to enter the Hakon Competition. Trained only by his great-grandparents in the art of magic, John, who will earn the title of John Slivery, will compete, facing ruthless warriors who will endanger his life at every turn. The aid of Zarin Jooba is invaluable. His best friend, Kay, will follow him into the Hakon, even though he will often be overcome with fear.
