#RC #Tank #Henglong It goes without saying that mounting the 17 pounder gun to the Sherman was a serious and difficult undertaking. For engineers of the Sherman Firefly they had to add an extension to the turret for the radio and mount the gun sideways to fit the breech. Luckily for those looking to give their heng long Shermans a bigger bite, the upgrade to the 17 pounder (and reinstalling the 105mm gun) is as simple as swapping barrels. Although the gun looks silly on the Sherman as is, it is certainly more eye catching. Although I doubt a more serious tank club would appreciate this quick upgrade, this unfamiliar with tanks may get a kick out of it. We'll see if I go all the way with the firefly upgrades.
