He gives shout-outs to real YouTube motorcycle reviewers who actually know stuff like @BigRockMoto, @FortNine, and @RevZilla. He also seems to be intent on getting beat up after school because he insults your bike multiple times, calls it ugly, expresses disdain for your non-round headlight, hopes you have fun riding your praying mantis pelican, and generally derides, ridicules, and expresses deep contempt for most modern adventure bikes while also trying to disclaimer his way out of the violence and hatred that is surely coming his way in the comments. Future Ang talks about how his idea of a perfect bike was formed by the likes of Marlon Brando, Steve McQueen, Evel Keineval, Peter O’Toole, Peter Fonda, Sophia Louren, Valerie Bertinelli, & Farah Faucet and explains what his particular unicorn bike would be like, and goes through a vast list of bikes one by one to try to find it. While doing in-depth three-second reviews based on nothing but looks of several modern ADV bikes including the new Transalp, Future Ang gives shout-outs to @DorkInTheRoad and @BigRockMoto for their actual in-depth reviews of that bike (which are very good). Eventually, it becomes obvious that Future Ang’s unicorn bike is going to remain elusive until Honda hires him as a bike design consultant and he has just flown to Argentina to go into hiding in an attempt to avoid the abusive comments that are surely coming after talking such crap about your ugly-ass bike. This video was inspired by @ShadetreeSurgeon. I’ve been thinking about doing a No Perfect Bike video for a year now, but I’ve never done a video like this before (and probably shouldn’t have started). But I watched Josh’s video about “Why Modern Classic Motorcycles Suck” and I just loved it. I like his style and the pace of that video. I can’t copy what he does, but it definitely inspired me to try a video like this. Thanks for being weird Josh.
