Video Pinball Arcade Game in action. Unlike the Atari 2600 version and the Video Pinball home console, this one has a raised foam playfield with red LED's, which is then reflected onto a 2-way mirror via the use of a black light. The 23" B&W monitor only displays the ball, flippers, drop targets and, of course, the scoring. This offers the illusion of a real life pinball game. Video Pinball also features a real spring plunger with an opto-board attached as well as a spring loaded pressure switch on the control panel for a nudge effect (which doesn't seem to do much unless you are near a drain). Overall this is a really neat piece of Atari arcade history that needs to be seen in person to really appreciate it. Filming this game really doesn't do it justice, but I have done my best. Enjoy.
