I've been waiting to install the Milwaukee Packout system in the new van for ages and it's finally time! I thought long and hard about how to set up the tool storage in my 2024 Ford Transit Custom and Im really happy with the result. I used a variety of Milwaukee Packout mounting plates, different tool boxes and Packout organisers and wall storage solutions, and I have managed to find a home for everything, whilst still leaving lots of useable space that can be adapted to carry whatever I need. I installed 4 Packout mounting plates along the right hand side of the van to accept a range of draw tool boxes, Packout organisers, XL Tool boxes, crates and other accessories. I then installed 4 wall mounting plates on each rear door where I could fit a range of the Packout workshop storage accessories and some organisers to outer utilise the space available. Finally I mounted a further plate on the left side of the van to hang jackets, my tool belt and other hand tools using a variety of hooks, baskets and storage. Not only is my van totally organised and easy to navigate, but thanks to the Milwaukee Packout system its now easier than ever to empty my van completely and adapt my tool selection based on the job in hand.
