Only aspirants whose name will be listed in the state merit list will be called for Maharashtra NEET 2020 counselling. In order to appear for Maharashtra MBBS counselling 2020, aspirants must qualify NEET exam , which will be held in the last week of May. The seat allotted during Maharashtra MBBS counselling session will be done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET UG 2020 exam. Aspirants will be called for Maharashtra MBBS counselling 2020 for admission to 8850 MBBS and 3444 BDS seats offered by medical and dental colleges of the state. While the cutoff of NEET 2020 scores equivalent to percentile will be announced along with the result. NEET 2020 cutoff: tie-breaking process In case, if two or more candidates have secured equal NEET cut off qualifying scores, the authority will use the tie-breaking criteria to prepare NEET merit list 2020 . The below-mentioned steps in order of preference will be followed to break the tie: Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants securing higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for merit list. Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie still exists, then the higher marks/percentile of candidate in Chemistry will be considered. Number of incorrect answers: If the tie is still there, students with less number of incorrect and correct attempted answers will be allotted better rank. Age: At last, the age of candidate will be taken into consideration. Aspirant elder in age will be given higher rank in the merit list. NEET cutoff for admission The cut off of NEET 2020 will be considered for admission to the following UG medical seats: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats 85% State Quota seats Deemed and Central universities ESIC and AFMS Private institutes How much marks required for NEET for 15% All India Quota seats As mentioned before, for admission to 15% AIQ seats, aspirants must secure NEET 2020 AIQ cutoff as specified by NTA. It must be noted that the AIQ cutoff of NEET 2020 will be the same as the qualifying percentile.
