From the conference proceedings: ”Retention trees and continous cover forestry are ways to mitigate the negative impacts of clear-cutting on ectomycorrhizal fungi. " "...Red-listed ectomycorrhizal fungi largly confined to natural forest dynamics and strongly disfavoured by clear-cutting. ” This lecture was given at The Boreal Eco-Forestry Online Conference 2022. The lecture was held on day 1, during session 1: Forest management, environmental impact and biodiversity loss. About the lecturer: Anders Dahlberg, Professor at the Department of Forest Mycology and Plant Pathology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden The conference was organized by the Lapland district of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, in cooperation with Protect the Forest, Sweden. The conference is a part of the Kolarctic CBC project "Adapting management of Barents forests to future climate and economy conditions", funded by the EU.
