We stayed at some great campgrounds whilst heading North. Along the way we wondered around the township of Mullumbimby, oh boy is that a hippy town in a good way. The next day we headed off into Byron Bay to walk out to the MOST EASTERNLY POINT OF THE MAINLAND AUSTRALIA. We were so disappointed that it never happened, as we could not get a car park anywhere & if we did it was $8.00 to park your car. So we drove down to the main strip of Byron Bay to check everything out, was that a bloody pain in the arse!! Finally, we found a car park at $5.00 an hour RIPOFF.
