As well as to PilotAware (via wifi GDL90 connection) to receive traffic info. The AV-30 is an impressive unit with a lot of functionality in a small package. It provides a major upgrade over a conventional ASI as a backup to the main Skyview EFIS. In the UK the LAA (experimental aircraft) has approved the AV-30-E as a backup to a EFIS so no mechanical ASI is required.
