Ricks Ride, through the Baraboo range of the Ocooch Mountains.

Known to many of us Wisconsinites as "The Driftless area", the southwestern region of Wisconsin is also known as the Ocooch Mountains. Ocooch, were Indigenous people who were related to the Winnebagos and were wiped out by Smallpox brought here by the early European settlers. The Driftless area is a fantastic area to enjoy motorcycle riding with numerous windy roads and hilly terrain. In this video we cut through a small area on the eastern edge of the Driftless area. We enjoyed a stop at the Driftless Glen Distillery in Baraboo, Wi and a short ride on the Merrimac Ferry across the Wisconsin River. It was a beautiful day for a ride.
