Building a More Equal World: An Animated Story on Youth Empowerment and Gender Equality

The Global Early Adolescent Study is the largest longitudinal study that looks at how gender affects young adolescent health across the globe. To date, we have reached over 16,000 young people through research and programs since 2017. Young adolescents face increasing mental health struggles, experience bullying and violence, and start exploring new relationships, all while facing the push and pull of gender norms. However, we have also seen that adolescents are resilient. Using these learnings, we have contributed to a new generation of interventions that go further in engaging parents, schools, and communities to promote gender equality. At the Global Early Adolescent Study, we are committed to advancing gender equality through dedicated research and impactful initiatives. Our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential and remove the constraints that perpetuate gender inequality.
