As a Transport for London contracted bus route, this double-decker bus covers a distance of 23.75 miles with limited stops. Along the way, we pass through various places, including Hatton, Teddington, New Malden, Worcester Park, Cheam, Carshalton, Wellington, and Croydon. If you're planning to take this bus route, it's important to note that London buses are all cashless, so you need an Oyster card, Travelcard, or contactless payment card to ride. As of 2023, bus fare is £1.75, and a day of bus-only travel will cost a maximum of £5.25. Oyster cards are only usable within the TFL zones and down to Gatwick. For example, from Heathrow Airport to Croydon, the bus fare is £5.60 by bus route x26.
