It attaches with our custom laser cut, formed, welded, and powder-coated steel upper bracket. This bracket attaches at five points for maximum strength needed during high speed transfer stages. The Fork Leg Guards are our own custom manufactured units. These are laser cut from 5/64 inch (2 mm) aluminum, mount at three locations, and include provision for brake hose routing clips. We decided to make our own fork leg guards so that we could get the fit perfect for the OEM mount points and include our hose routing, in addition to providing correct coverage for the ABS sensor. No cutting or drilling needed, Altrider’s guards fit right out of the box. The dual-sided hose kit is a custom built, street legal, and DOT-approved. Kit includes braided stainless steel lines covered with a UV resistant black PVC coating and built in strain reliefs for increased durability and performance.
