Sources say that the BJP has proposed an alliance with RLD, offering them four seats in the Jat-dominant western Uttar Pradesh. The BJP is rumored to be in talks with MNS for potential seat-sharing in Maharashtra. Further solidifying their southern presence, 16 ex-AIATMK MLAs are reported to have joined the BJP recently.
