In this video I make a custom wire wrapped pendant using a customer's heart shaped stone. I did not have a plan when I started this video. I pulled the stone out of an envelope a few minutes before I started recording so this is completely improvised. I encourage you to grab a stone and follow along, wrapping your own pendant with me. If you do not have chain, you can create your bail perpendicularly to how I made mine and feed cord through it. Hopefully seeing my work process will help someone with theirs. I used 18 gauge wire for the main wrap, and 24 gauge for the weaving. I used a 3mm round copper bead as an accent on both sides. I purchased these three supplies at Riogrande. I purchased my clasps from Shipwreck Beads and the other supplies at Gemfaire and other shows. Please feel free to ask any questions. I apologize for accidentally working off screen. I mounted my phone on my chair, which was springy causing my video to shake, and the process of stabilizing the video resulted in cropping. I have learned what not to do, so I will find another solution next time I film outside. I also apologize for my fingernails and hands. These are working hands, and I have medical conditions that don't help. Plus I recently tried gel nails on 3 fingers in order to play my ukulele (because my nails have been breaking off so bad they were shorter than my nail bed) and this caused my nails on those 3 fingers to detach from the nail bed, so I am waiting for them to hopefully heal as they grow out. I actually don't care what they look like. I only wish they were better so they didn't hurt and I could play my uke. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my videos, and the music is courtesy of Adobe Stock's Royalty Free Audio Tracks. If you like this video, please Like and Subscribe.
