Corrigan Rd Level Crossing, Noble Park, With Mechanical Bells (Before & After Upgrade)

This is the Corrigan Rd level crossing in Noble Park, on the Dandenong corridor, with footage I took in back in January 2017 when it had two Westinghouse hybrid bells, and then in July and September 2017 after both bells were replaced with General Signals Type-3 e-bells. The bells were replaced in April 2017. This crossing has since been grade separated, with trains running over the new Corrigan Road railway bridge in February 2018. At the time I filmed it, the crossing still had its McKenzie & Holland teardrop bell. However, it was rotated to face south instead of west. It's anyone's guess why they did this. It still had a yellow cross painted on it, and still did not work, so it's a mystery why it wasn't removed with the hybrid bells Since January 2017, this crossing was dramatically modified and upgraded to accommodate sky-rail during its construction. The new crossing had: - McKenzie & Holland cross-arms on most of the crossing, except for sets attached to each boom gate, which had new Westinghouse cross-arms (these replaced WRRS cross-arms) - New marked Westinghouse lights on all the crossing, except for the cantilever on the southern end, which still had an old marked Westinghouse light and an old unmarked Westinghouse light. These new lights replaced McKenzie & Holland, Westinghouse and Weston Cullen Hayes lights. All lights were upgraded to LED's, when previously only the lights on the cantilevers were LED's while the rest were incandescent - A Westinghouse boom gate mechanism on the southern side (it's original), with a Westinghouse base, and a Safetran boom gate mechanism on the northern side with an unmarked base - Westinghouse pedestrian boom gate mechanisms. The footpath crossing the intersection on the eastern side was closed for grade separation works when I filmed it. As a result, the pedestrian boom gate on the northern end was removed, and the gate on the southern end was permanently in the 'down' position, however, its alarm did not sound The cantilever on the northern side was also moved further north I have already uploaded a video of this crossing before, with its old infrastructure, so if you want to see more footage of the crossing, see that video:    • Corrigan Rd Level Crossing, Noble Par...
