Rathi Devta ( रथी देवता ) - Story of Dhan Singh in Garhwali English Subtitles available! A True story of God Rathi Devta. Earlier in between 19th and 20th century there was a normal human being named as Dhan Singh Adhikari. Dhan Singh Adhikari was a normal Human, he lived in Aleru Village, Uttarakhand. Aleru village is in Patti Jhuva. He lived there as normal person and he used to do Animal husbandry in his past days. In 20th Century there used to be disease Cholera or Haija in Hindi. It was really effective at that time. People get scared a lot in those days because there were no solution for that Disease. Many villages got evacuated and people get infected by Cholera ( Haija ). Dhan singh also got infected by this Disease and he died as other persons died in village. In past days people used to buried people who get infected by Cholera or haija Disease. In hindu religion we burn people when they die. Time traveled and after death of Dhan Singh his soul used to get inside other villagers and try to contact them. People got scared a lot cause lots of people had same issue and they got scared when his soul get contact of any person. People did worship and try to get rid of him. Whenever Dhan Singh's soul get in contact with someone else's body, he always told them to tell their problems to him. People didn't believe until they told their problems. People were astonished when he solved all the problems. That time it was magical thing for them. People understand that his soul in not a normal soul, he is a kind of a god who wants to help people. People asked him about his identity. He told everyone that when he died, his Head & body was in right position as well as stars position was perfect. He became god and he Ride on "Rath of God" ( Chariot of God ). When he told people about this magical stuff, he became everyone's favorite and they named him after Rath as a "Rathi Devta" Rathi Devta is Famous among people of Uttarakhand and many other places. People came from different places with their problems and he solve them all. It's a saying that if you will remember him by true Heart & soul you, he is going to help you. No matter where you are. Girls of his Region who got married or who is unmarried, he help them in all situation just by getting in contact with them. It's true. 7 Gati, Baisakh ( In April ) it's a festival day of "Rathi Devta". His Temple is in Kilukhal, Aleru. on the day of festival people get together from different places to visit his temple. I also went from New Tehri to visit this beautiful festival. I loved this festival a lot, I have captured some outstanding footage for you all. I hope you will like it. I don't own the Music.
