With level and vintage germanium preamp goodness for days, this incredible one-knob marvel is deceptively simple but deep - it's all about how and when you use it in your setup! Thanks to an incredibly innovative low noise floor - ESPECIALLY for this kind of ge circuit - the Benson Germanium Boost is an awesome candidate as an always-on tone shaper that gives you the feel and tone of a pushed or even cranked amp, whatever your volume. Of course it can push the front of even high headroom clean amps into overdriven territory, and it's incredibly sweeter pushing amps on the edge as well as other pedals. Because if this, I thought it best to also bring in the incredible new color way of the Benson Preamp (offered by Little Box Effects). The tone and gain of the Preamp goes into the stratosphere when being pushed by the Germanium Boost.
