How much does it cost to live in the modern metropolis of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 1 month? I'm an Aussie expat living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 2 years. In this video, I reveal my full cost of living, broken down by 16 categories (based on 735 days of line-by-line transaction data). If you live in a western country one of your main concerns is probably money, but in Malaysia, you might not have to work that hard to access affordable luxury. I break down what it costs to cover all my major monthly expenses: rent, transport, food, travel, groceries, dating, haircuts, and more. I convert every major number from MYR into USD & AUD, so you can understand the expenses in your major currency. We’ll also compare it to what my cost of living was in Sydney, Australia.
