We stay in Jindabyne before heading down the Barry Way following the Snowy River on our way to Buchan, we take the long way via McKillops bridge, Ambyne suspention bridge and then cross the Snowy River at Jacksons Crossing before staying the night at the Buchan Caves that was closed, although the gates were open. We then follow the Timbarra River that's an easy drive and very scenic.
