Having spent a considerable amount of time tuning and adjusting my sewing machines over the years I have come across a few helpful tips and tricks when it comes to machine setup. One thing that I have noticed is the lack of information regarding the importance of a properly wound bobbin. This one component can can completely change the machines sewing characteristics if not wound/ installed properly. In the past, I have found improperly wound bobbins to cause issues such as thread breaking, fraying, and loose/tight stitches.
