Don't miss this traditional Madeira Island food. If you are visiting Madeira in 2023, you have to eat at this restaurant which serves authentic Madeira food. The trip into the mountains didn't quite go to plan. Usually you have breathtaking views as you trip up and through the clouds. However, the clouds didn't break on this occasion. But I did find some other footage to show you how spectacular it really is. I stop off at Abrigo do Poiso on the way down for their traditional coffee and hard boiled egg before heading to Abrigo do Pastor for lunch. This is a MUST visit restaurant in Madeira. You cannot go wrong with the food at this restaurant, but I recommend the suckling pig. I hope you enjoy the video and the meal. P.S.
