I DIY Ironing Board That Fits on my Desk

Until a few months ago, I'd never owned an iron. I would borrow mum's if I needed one and always bought clothes that don't require ironing. But I now live a couple of hours away from my mum and I have increased the amount of sewing I do. So I decided i needed an iron so I could get a better quality of sewing. What I don't want though, is a big ironing board in my house. They are ugly, bulky and awkward to up and down. If i had a spot that it could stay open all the time, I might consider one, but that is not my situation at the moment. So I made one out of a leftover piece of my desk, some left over rubber, remnant fabric and cotton wadding. I also gave quilting a go... didn't do too well in my first attempt. Hopefully my next ones are a little better!
