As we worked our way around the reef toward the area where we had last raised a musky I barked out from the bow, “hey! Conti are you throwing double-800 Goldielocks??” At the moment my good friend and pro staffer Michael Conti was throwing a TopRaider, which was a great choice as we approached sunset, but I had a feeling about that double-800 Goldie Buchertail! Each time we had encountered this particular musky she was following a double-800 Goldielocks and I thought it was critical that someone have this lure flying! Conti made the lure change and BAM! Michael was hooked up in the figure-8 and we had captured a muskie that we had been chasing for roughly 10 hours!
