Call it stupidity or adrenaline or adventurous. We all lose it sometimes and live too close the edge sometimes for the adventure of it. One of my moments. Started from Satara to Kaas - plateau of flowers and the enroute is amazing mountains and views. It was foggy at times and exciting encounters inside the forest when few of the car guys blocked my road to stop. Didn't get to see any flowers at Kaas plateau of flowers since they haven't bloomed yet but this one for the route. Like the famous dialogue, sometimes you enjoy the route more than the destination itself. Took the less taken road from Kaas to Tapola and then to Mahabaleshwar. The roads are curvy and bad roads. Maharashtra infamous for bad roads, however, the beauty of it compensates for the bad roads. Nothing I got to see at the Mahabaleshwar except fog and forest. But that was enough for me. Ended the ride after reaching Mahad and some surprise meets with Ankit. The Poladpur ghat is dangerous and about 2 days before there was an accident where 29 people died while one of them miraculously escaped when a bus fell down from the cliff.
