Aerith battles Super-Boss Weiss the Immaculate One. Materia Setup: 🟢 Ice + Wind 🟣 Magic-Up x2, First Strike, SkillMaster, HP Up, ATB Stagger, Parry + Steadfast block 🔴 Chocobo&Moogle 1st Phase: Block his basic attacks to gain ATB. Dodge his special attacks (parry makes this much easier) to put him off-balance & pressured. While pressured, hit him with ice to maximally increase his stagger gauge, but only if you have enough time. With less time, use wind because the damage release is quicker and sometimes throws him into the air. Fleeting familiar is the most important special ability to utilize here. 2nd Phase: Weiss becomes immune to any physical attack, only magic can hurt him. Fortunately for Aerith her attack is 99% magic so she excels in this phase. Parry is again vital for dodging "Mutilation" and "Azure Assault". Keep the battle contained within an arcane ward so attack spells are doubled, and stagger him (ice is best) before he releases the Black Hole void...which makes things too difficult.
