ASMR | Jim Gordon Helps The Batman On A Case | The Batman Roleplay

Wow, this was a journey in the making! Arguably the most involved preparation for a Roleplay on this channel. I have wanted to do a Batman related video(aside from the eventual reviews and discussions of the film) ever since I started this page. This upcoming film has been running throughout my mind for months and has kept its' way as one of my most anticipated films of all time; SERIOUSLY! The main inspiration behind assuming the character of Jim Gordon stemmed from a few routes. The major one being how the character was fleshed out in Loeb and Sale's The Long Halloween. Seeing Gordon's unflinching dedication to ridding the filth permeating throughout Gotham at the expense of watching his family grow was a central driving force. The tenderness towards Batman was most definitely tied to Oldman's support system lent to a young boy who had just watched his parents get murdered right before his eyes. That scene where Jim is knelt down onto a young Bruce's level and consoles him all while the precinct is in shambles at the death of the Waynes is what stuck in my mind during formulating the character. Finally the visual costuming and one-for-one Detective dynamic between Batman and Gordon was a translation from the brief snippets of Jeffery Wright's portrayal in the new film! Needless to say I wanted to bring each of you the best quality adaptation of the classic character that I could!
