http://tinyurl.com/pfuxftn Noel Gallagher on Radio X. Thanks to birchy for recording. Noel Gallagher has no sympathy for people who complain they never had a chance to see Oasis live. The band split in 2009 following a dramatic bust-up between Noel and his younger brother Liam but Noel - who would only consider a reunion for a "quarter of a billion" pounds - says fans had 20 years to see them on stage. Speaking on Chris Moyles' new Radio X breakfast show, Noel said: "I'm sure there are countless, thousands of people who would love it [an Oasis reunion] but there's one that wouldn't ... me. "I do say, 'We were together for 20 years, if you didn't see us, tough' ... I didn't get to see the Sex Pistols." And despite pleas from fans for a reunion, Noel isn't keen, although he won't totally rule it out. He said: "Probably not in the very near future. One should never say never though, when someone's waving a check for a quarter of a billion..." However, Noel admitted he wasn't impressed with Oasis' music towards the end, explaining: "As a live band, we got better - as the songs got worse." Noel and Liam have a famously fractious relationship and Noel revealed the pair rarely see each other these days, even though their feud has cooled. Asked when is the last time he saw his sibling, Noel said: "When [Manchester] City won the league about eight or nine months ago ... I don't hang out with my family, I never did..." Meanwhile, despite their rock 'n' roll reputation, Noel said Oasis weren't quite the wild rockers they appeared to be, saying "We'd book an extra suite, that would be the party room and we'd trash it, well not trash it, and then at 7am go back and we'd all have pristine hotel rooms."
