LS Swapped Jeep gets an Exhaust: TIG Welder Setup for Thin Stainless

The LS swapped Jeep Cherokee XJ project is coming along nicely, but it's time to put an exhaust on the LS engine, and that starts with a Y pipe to merge both banks of the LS engine into a single exhaust underneath the Jeep XJ. This is a 6.0 liter LS engine, which is an LQ4 truck engine with a small cam, shorty Novak swap headers, and an LS6 car intake, so the exhaust size we are running is 2.5" into a single 3" tail pipe. This will be a perfect size for an engine of this horsepower level. We're shooting for about 400 hp at the crank from this engine. ALso today we're discussing some common welder settings you can use when working with thin stainless steel to try and keep the heat input to a minimum. I'll talk about Pulse, and on this video I was using 30 pulses per second, 25 amps minimum, 65 amps max, and 30% on-time. I can't say the welds look significantly different from where I welded with straight current, but overall they look pretty good.
