Turning Copper Scrap into Copper Bars - Melting and Pouring Copper! Since I had a viewer send some scrap Copper to me to make him a few bars and a round, I figured I'd film the process that I did. I failed to film the more finished product as I worked them with a dremel and wet sandpaper, but I can show that on future videos. Working with copper is much harder than working with silver since it's melting point is higher and it's cooling point comes quicker. Plus, without a large foundry, you can only do so much! I am learning as I go though and I am getting more of a feel for working with copper. I'm sure I will continue to fine tune the process the more I practice.
