Sunken Train Wreck (Delaware Water Gap)

We went and explored a train wreck located in the Delaware river just off of Rt 611. Two train disaster happened in this same location. One dating back to the year May, 18th 1948 and the other in September 11, 1975. The first derailment, the locomotive jumped the tracks, killing 2 crewmen. The other cars connect to the train stayed on the tracks sparing 76 other passengers. In the second accident, two engines and thirteen cars of a freight train went into the river. No one was hurt or killed. Most of the wreckage was cleaned up but several cars remain. Today we will be diving below the surface to find the historical wreckage.
