What’s happening in this Love Actually movie clip? Daniel (Liam Neeson from Taken and Schindler’s List) is trying to convince the airport security to let his son (Thomas Brodie-Sangster from Game of Thrones and The Queen’s Gambit) say goodbye to the love of his life. With the help of Rufus (Rowan Atkinson from Mr. Bean and Johnny English), Sam manages to go through the first line of security without being noticed. However, he jumps over a guard going through the metal detector and they start running after him. Sam sees Joanna (Olivia Olson) on the line just before boarding. He tries to scream, but there’s a glass wall in between them. So he takes advantage of the fact that the officers are looking at the TV to sneak behind them and say goodbye to Joanna. She is surprised to see him, but they don’t have much time to speak because the guards are already there to take him away. When Sam goes back to his father, he sees that Joanna has followed him and she kisses him on the cheek. The Prime Minister (Hugh Grant from Nothing Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral) goes knocking on doors trying to find Natalie (Martine McCutcheon from EastEnders). In the first house where he knocked, an old lady tells him that Natalie does not live there. However, she is surprised to see that the Prime Minister himself is at her door, and he wishes her a Merry Christmas. At the next house, 3 little girls open the door and ask him to sing carols. With the help of his driver, David starts singing to the little girls. Then he finally manages to find Natalie’s house. However, her whole family is at the door leaving to go see one of Natalie’s brother’s high school Christmas shows and they invite the prime minister. He accepts the invitation and asks if she wants him to drive her there. She accepts and they go together, with Natalie’s brother going in costume between them.
