Here is another sound test with my unmodded Akko 5075s (the cheapest kit Akko currently sells, at $59.99USD on a normal day). I'll be trying more switches out on this board, in addition to the previous 2 boards I've uploaded videos on (the Keychron Q10 and CIY Tester68). Apologies for the Windows bloop when I unplug the cable. I accidentally hit the knob before recording, which unmuted my sound. Join me on my keyboard journey! Keyboard: Akko 5075s, Starry Night (stock) Switches: TKC Blackberry (stock) Keycaps: Akko Midnight (ASA Profile, Doubleshot PBT) Knob: included gold knob, but spray-painted black Cable: CableMod Pro Straight Aviator Cable (Midnight Black) Deskmat: YUNZII Desk Pad Mouse Mat -Starry (D) Microphone: Blue Yeti (w/ windscreen, ~8" above center of board) Camera: Samsung Galaxy S22 This board is a great buy! You can get even get more value if you purchase it fully configured in black or white. Here I'm using the recently released TKC Blackberry clicky switches. This is my first experience with a complete set of quality clicky switches. Other than individual samples... I've only ever typed on Cherry MX Blues, Gateron Blues, and perhaps some old school boards too. I think buckling spring switches are very cool, and I used to want and IBM Model M for myself. These are a different pitch click than I'm used to in a clicky switch. But either way, it's night and day when compared with the blue switches I've used. Not enough to make me go back to clicky for my daily use though! The switches themselves are a beautiful deep purple translucent. More to come!
