Archer High School in Gwinnett County, Georgia has a hybrid greenhouse providing education opportunities using an aquaponics system farming tilapia and vegetables alongside traditional growing methods. The greenhouse is used as a component of Archer's AG-STEM emphasis. Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful's Green and Healthy Schools program brings sustainability and healthy eating into the classroom through special projects and curriculum. The program also points students to career opportunities within the green sector, building upon their STEAM education.
