KRONOS9 is a Miami based music producer, whose keen ear and knack with gear, have aided him in creating several hundred tracks in his catalog. We first encountered the artist at the New Schnitzel House where he provided a live score for the AV Club 16mm film projections using a cassette 4-track. At the conclusion of the event the sonic mastery of KRONOS9 was more than evident. We met up with KRONOS9 at the CAMP Gallery in North Miami where we learned about his musical beginnings and shot forward in time to present day. This gentleman is extremely prolific, juggling multiple projects with equal parts passion and attention to each. One week ago he dropped “Miami Summer Nights Sessions Volume 1” a full album in a genre he coined Afro Ambient Jazz. In addition to his solo projects, he has been collaborating with Sound Shaman #mikeflo on a series of singles, the tune “Courage” came out this week. Another joint endeavor is with Orion aka Brass Balls; the two are working on a full length album due out soon.
