We're thankful for the turnout to our March '23 Summit! This month, we welcomed our community experts and learned about tools and resources for growing your FinOps career and building a resilient FinOps team. We also covered the latest jobs and salary data from State of FinOps, open FinOps jobs, resources on building FinOps teams, and growing FinOps careers. The session included: Alee Whitman (Disney) on her career journey from working for a consulting agency to a cloud service provider, and now as a practitioner at Disney. And skillsets you need to be adaptable in different FinOps career paths. Brent Eubanks (Box) providing best practices for strategically staffing a FinOps program that aligns with your business, and identifying the right personas, skillsets, and resources for advancing your FinOps program across all FinOps stages. Simar Arora (Cornell University) sharing his Cornell and FinOps Foundation collaboration project on “Optimizing your cloud’s carbon footprint” and getting started on your FinOps career.
