In spring I wish I could be everywhere. But I have to choose target species, not to loose my head. And this year I want to focus on woodpeckers. I have spend many hours in the forest looking for the white backed woodpecker. This bird is endangered, because down building of old forest. I was so lucky to find a pair of woodpeckers nesting in a beautiful old forest. It proves that hard work pays of.
