Make Data Count: Emerging Priorities and Practical Steps in Data Evaluation

Over the last year, Make Data Count has engaged with repositories, institutions, and research-supporting organizations to discuss responsible data metrics, and we pursued work on resources to make it easier for the community to understand the reach of open data. In this session, we will explore emerging priorities in data evaluation, and share what Make Data Count has in store for the coming months. With our guest speaker Mark Hahnel (Digital Science), we will discuss the Data Citation Corpus, the value this resource brings to institutions, and the ways in which the community can already start using this store of data citations.
